I had high expectations for Lindsay, and she totally exceeded them. The listing process went so smoothly and we sold for over asking price in just a few days. But perhaps her strongest asset is her awareness of how emotional this process can be. It was a tough decision for me to sell the house where I watched my kids learned to walk, and she was so sensitive to that. The home I listed with her was a historical property with significant delayed maintenance issues. It was likely the hardest challenge she will face in her real estate career. As I told her, if she could sell this property, she could sell anything. Throughout the listing period, she was exceptional in holding open houses, in showing the property, and in helping possible buyers see the potential in the property. She was also exceptional in communication and always diplomatic despite the quirks of the seller (myself). I was adamant that this property be sold to someone who would restore this historical home and preserve the feeling of the neighborhood .....not someone who would tear it down and build a huge structure totally out of place on that charming street.
